Time Robo Alpha is my best pick.

Honestly, Timeranger checks off almost everything I want in Super Sentai mecha. You have 5 jets that combine into one jet or one of two robots. The mecha forms do not belie the fact it's made up of 5 jets, either...very retro design. The only missing is a carrier but I can let that go if everything else lines up nicely on the 80's Super Sentai nostalgia train.

Still waiting for a return of the "retro" Sentai designs. There's been some slight nods recently but I want to see them go all in again.
