Nopt gonna lie, best part of the recent Space Squad movie or even the Gavan movie a few years back was Kenji Ohba as old man Retsu.

I love the original Gavan series, but that man just gets cooler as he gets older for some reason.

As for a Metal Hero show, I would prefer it to be something like Amazons, maybe not in tone or violence, but something kept far, far away from Super Hero Time. By all means make a few toys for the collector crowd, but last thing I want is a new Space Sherriff with, say, fruit-shaped padlocks.

Anyway, started Timeranger last night, only had time to watch one episode, but I liked it. Good start for my first oldish sentai in a while.
