Oh yeah, I keep forgetting to say this but it was awesome seeing Kenji Sahara in Nexus.

It was the first show after Nexus and they have a back-to-basics approach to it in terms of tone which is why I think it is one of the best gateway shows from the early 2000s other than Mebius.
