Crimson being a shade of Red isn't an excuse to include him with other Red Rangers. If it was, then we would have to include all the Pink Rangers too.

Eric counts because he was involved in Forever Red.

Like I said earlier. They included Super Megaforce Red before along with Megaforce Red in posters before. Nothing is stopping them from doing it again.
