I'm not in love with Geed's final form yet, the design is not really working for me, but maybe I need to see it in motion first. I do however like that the second capsule for the fusion is Belial.

Speaking of Belial, I'm so happy that he comes to Earth in his standard form and beats some ass. I was a bit worried that they would have him debut in his new form. Seeing him like this makes me believe that we will have a few action scenes with his classic suit and they will give him his new form later, kinda like with Zero, and I'm fine with that.

Also, that Fire Leader form is cool, it needs to appear in a crossover with Kamen Rider Build and Kikaider!

To be honest I think the "original form is my strongest form" worked with Orb since they build on it since the very first episode. If Geed took a similar route just to get a unique form it would seem to me like they're out of ideas. They are already reusing the fusion theme, which is okay but not terribly different from what Orb did.

And you're right, story-wise Geed's original form would be Belial's Ultraman form, and that appears to be the case as the suit we see on Geed when he takes form but before the fusion fully happens seems to match Belial's, at least the head is clearly the same:



Why it is specifically this form even though Belial's body was already in his Reionics form when Alien Sturm was given Belial's DNA is beyond me though.

Maybe they specifically engineered Riku to become a real Ultraman and thus removed the parts of Alien Rayblood? Could be the case. Maybe that's also why he isn't able to transform on his own, he only has the few genes of Belial that aren't tainted and those can't form a complete Ultraman anymore, so the capsules patch in the missing parts.

Maybe they'll adress this in the future, maybe not. They haven't mentioned the Reionics stuff ever since the movies I believe.
