Time for Episode 3.

Race to the Rescue
-Maya has super animal hearing powers, apparently.
-Sorry Kai and Kendrix. this is a mission for people who's names don't begin with K.
-I'm starting to think Scorpius is just some sort of collector. First the Quasar Sabers, now the Galactabeasts.
-Well I guess Coghead isn't the monster of the week after all.
-How did Kendrix and Kai get to the planet?
-Is that an Elvis Impersonator Crayfish monster? Proof Elvis was an alien?
-And now the Galaxy Rangers have made friends for life.
-And the villains can move faster than the heroes.
-Hey I think this is the only time we see anything resembling conventional forces try to engage the monster of the week. Too bad it didn't work.
-And here come the heroes. Leo can shoot fire, which is cool.
-Uh oh flask of green liqued. I see how our monsters grow this time.
-And the Galactabeasts show up. Poor pink kitty, she's the only one who's mouth isn't articulated. There's some nice effects work here, with the Lion's feet breaking the pavement. Also the shaking off dirt, but I'm not sure why that's there. Did they emerge from the ground or break free of petrification in Gingaman?
-And EvisCrawfish learns that you never ask something thats glowing and has fire swirling around it to take their best shot.
-The Galactabeasts are actually a pretty unique concept in a lot of ways. They were the first time the Zords were explicitly living beings, and so far as I know the only set to be fully organic. Well most of the time.
-And Trakeena. Daddy's little villain. They went a different route with her than I thought, but she's definitly one of the most interesting baddies in PR history. I do have to wonder how her parents met though. And it seems the writers wanted to explore that other path, since two years later we got Nadira.
