Anyway, I couldn't fall asleep last night so I watched the first two episode of Goggle V. They were pretty decent. This is the only Sentai series I know absolutely nothing about, so I wasn't sure what to expect. I got a laugh that the "Good" science guys have their own child slave force. It was also hysterical when the red ranger says, "This truly is evil science" when a giant Air Man looking bot appeared. All I'm hearing whenever they say evil science or dark science is, "GERMAN SCIENCE IS THE GREATEST SCIENCE IN THE WORLD!"

I do hope they cut down on the time they show the mech transforming and stuff.

I'm watching Goggle V right now, along with Maskman oddly enough, and without a doubt one of the most disappointing things about the show is how little focus Comboy gets. The show makes a big deal about how Goggle V are suppose to be their mentors and that they're suppose to work together to create a peaceful world but the children barely appear in most episodes and the times where any of the Goggle V members interact with any of the children on a personal level can be counted on one hand. Its not that Comboy is useless exactly, they do spend most of the time typing on computers after all, its just that the two groups are so disconnected from one another emotional that the few times that they do try and focus on the bond the two teams are suppose to have with one another, it feels extremely hollow. I'm not really surprised by this, Pre-Zyuranger Sentai seem to have entire seasons full of emotional plot points that aren't done very well, but it still makes me sad regardless. Thank god things have improved since then.
