After this trailer I think I'm in. While I understand everyone's concerns with Del Toro not being at the direction, I think the movie has potential.

I love the new designs and how they seem a big technological leap in agility and speed compared to the Jaegers of the first movie and how they're hinting at mecha-kaijus.

The first movie already seemed to wink toward Getter Robo's Dino Empire with its "the kaijus are evolved dinosaurs" thing...if the invaders really started to develope their own hybrids of machine and beast, my dream of seeing live action Mechasaurus will come true!
