In the end it felt half-assed and sadly did not live up to the hype.
Personally I would have much preferred if they dropped the Goseiger stuff and start with Gokaiger as the basis. They could have gone Kyuranger with the plot saying they became dimension-hopping pirates that wanna take back Earth utilizing the power rangers legacy powers. As for the Goseiger suit and the non-pr sentai suits they could have said it was elseworld stuff or whatever if they just had no other way to take it out and said it was stuff they earned prior to the show while dimension-hopping.
