It might work out better than any other Digimon they've done so far. Colors are pretty much the same in both modes, they both share a shell on their backs that can hide any kibble and it doesn't look like much detail has to be lost because of the gimmick.

We only saw Tentomon and this rough prototype, but if they play their cards right the only thing I can see being inaccurate (aside from hinges and swivels of course) is that MegaKabuterion will have Tentomon's shell. Which is nowhere near as obvious as WarGreymon having Agumon's split skull for wings or how Alphamon, Angewomon and most likely Dukemon will wear their Rookie-forms as capes

I don't know man, they all look excellent but for some reason, Tentomon has my attention now. I'm rather excited to see how the MegaKabuterimon-mode turns out.
