The idea of unmasked heroes certainly isn't bad but I can't see this line going beyond the most iconic figures in the genre when instead it should be used to bring secondary characters to live that were crucial to the show they appeared in but never transformed themselves.

Maybe there will be a market for that but I kinda doubt it. And hearing that the very first figure suffers from sub-par articulation is not the start I had envisioned for these. I do hope that Retsu Ichijojo and Takeshi Hongo turn out better, however.

I pre-ordered neither as I have no real use for unmasked heroes but since I want them to expand to secondary characters I hope they do well regardless.
