My reasons:

1 - Just like Kiwami, I love Godzilla as a little kid because I was really into dinosaurs. I love the rubber suits and miniatures in those movies. I love all of the work that is put into these movies and they are nowhere as cheep as people make it out to be. The suits and miniatures in Toku will always be the thing that drags me into Toku.

2 - The cool monster designs. I always love how Japan make really cool and awesome looking monsters. I even love the strange looking monsters too. In my opinion, America always makes boring looking monsters and always come off as lame looking (As seen with the MUTOs in Godzilla 2014). Even in anime, you still get really cool monsters too. Japan knows how to make awesome looking monsters.

3 - The fight choreography in Kamen Rider, Sentai and Ultraman is always great too

4 - I like the themes in the stories that Toku shows have. The original Kamen Rider in the 70's dealt with themes of evil vs. evil and not losing your humanity. I felt like Android Kikaider did a better job on the robot pinocchio story than Steven Spielberg's A.I movie in my opinion.

5 - There is more to Toku than just superheroes and giant monsters. Toku can have WW2 movies from Eiji Tsuburaya, horror films, space opera and so much more. Anyone who thinks Toku is just Sentai and Kamen Rider, should check out other Japanese special effect films and TV shows.
