The show does look quite promising, though I'm going to temper expectations for this. The series' track record suggests that this is probably the right thing to do but if it turns out to be really good then that will be great.

According to the batch of scans released prior to this press reveal it did say Kairi/Lupin Red is quick with his thinking and actions if I remember correctly so I'd say he could be more of a mixbag of Gokai Red and ToQ1 based on what we are given. Confident and unhesitant. And hey, even if he is an idiot you still got Keiichirou/Patran 1 to look forward to who seems to be a more of a no-nonsense heroic type.

Off topic, I do hope the tsuika senshis of the show are the rumored pirate team like Darth Gonzo shared previously. Because if so it means we get three teams each representing air(Lupinranger), land(Patranger), and sea(rumored pirate team). And I bet the first part of their names spell out kaizoku which means pirate.
