So what's this about rumored Nickelodeon mandates? That's the first I've heard of that.

Supposedly, the reason they seemingly tried killing the show those last few years was due to an execs wife not liking how violent it was. It sounds stupid, but there are numerous stories of that exact thing happening with many other shows.
