Maybe? I mean I'd say compatability would be a pipe dream, as it'd be a real hassle at best and impossible at worst to fit the combiner ports into the Zord designs. But it could be a size that they go for.

Well there's one question I had answered. The next one is how much Toei/Bandai own Power Rangers? Would it be impossible to continue Power Rangers without their input and using the Sentai footage? I know that Toei used to be able to keep Saban from skipping shows, but I'm not sure how the contracts are now. At the very least show skipping isn't a thing anymore, but Toei wouldn't be unhappy with the idea of going back and using the skipped stuff.

And that is exactly my point. For Bandai of Japan to let the toy rights for Power Rangers slip from their American branch they must be convinced it is in their best interest.

Hence the likelihood that there is a lot to the agreement that we will just never know - all kinds of provisos and what not. Chiefly of which, of course, would be not letting Takara -their chief rivals - anywhere near it.

Bandai America has been a real joke for a while too. I don't even know what else they had. I see Playmates got the licenses for Voltron and Ben 10, so they definitly don't have those either. I'm assuming that Mattel wasn't interested either, otherwise we'd be asking when the Power Ranger Barbies would be coming. So if Hasbro was asking around I'm sure I can see why they'd got to them, and just make sure there are provisions to keep it seperate from Takara Tomy.

Well back in the 90's Generation 2 Megatron was the Greatest foe my Thunder Megazord ever faced.

Hopefully IDW and Boom will work something out. Power Rangers avoids one of the inherent issues of crossing over with Transformers as they can use the Zords and give us giant robot battles.

Yes, this would work. But considering the ammount they dailed things back for Hascon compared to the massive ammount of stuff Fun Productions did each year. Still it'd be an amazing set.

Heh, Hasbro announces anything for Transformers, the 2005 boards get filled up with how much Hasbro sucks, and how cheap they've gotten. Hasbro gets the PR rights, this board rejoices the brand is saved.
