Not bad, I'd say. I keep saying, I don't think Toei's too fond of the two year thing. I mean back in the day they apparently wouldn't let Saban skip Carranger in favor of Jetman! And Hasbro might be able to exert more pressure with Nick than Saban did. Don't forget parent company Viacom made a lot of money off the Transformers movies, and even with The Last Knight's underperforming they aren't stopping them. So Hasbro might be able to throw it's weight around and get us back to one a year shows.

It's not the ammount of show footage that's the question, it's the amount of toyline stuff. And I'm sure Hasbro would be more than willing to pad the line out with stuff not from that show. At the same time they'd also want to keep things that are in the show on shelves for at least a good portion of the lines lifespan. And Hasbro also seems to like to have a high turnover rate for the waves on shelves. There were what, two megazords for Go-Busters? They aren't going to want to stretch that on for two years.
And then there's the fact the new contract with nick is
3
years. An odd number. So that doesn't seem to be to make much sense if they were doing two shows of two years each, but a lot more if it's either one show of one year and one of two years, or three shows of one year. And if they let the Nick guys in on the Hasbro deal while negotiating that strengthens their posistion at the contract negotiations.
