Bakemono Sentai Kyofuger, a team based around classic Universal monsters ala Kiva (Except not bad). They must confront an evil group of aliens who are planning on taking over the Earth.

KyofuRed is a vampire, a distant relative of Dracula himself, who abides by all classical vampire rules... except for the sunlight and blood sucking ones. He gets around it via drinking juice and wearing a lot of sunscreen. He uses a bat-themed sword.

KyofuBlack is the son of a deceased scientist, and is themed around the Frankenstein's monster. He's the smart, brooding one, but has a knack for coming up with goofy inventions he takes 100% seriously. Uses large electrically-charged fist weapons.

KyofuBlue is the daughter of a werewolf, and the last member of the team to join. She's the most sensible of the members, but has a wild side thanks to her lineage. Of course, sometimes she becomes a werewolf. She uses claw weapons.

KyofuGreen is a merman, and the prince of a merman civilization. He joined the team because he didn't want to be prince, and is a rebel at heart. Of course, being a merman, he can't stay out of water for too long. He uses a trident weapon.

KyofuWhite is the oldest member, but only by age. She's an actual ancient Egyptian princess who was revived thousands of years after she was supposedly mummified. She's a spoiled brat, and doesn't really understand a lot of modern things. She uses a ribbon weapon, with an ankh design.

I could go more into detail. I put at least two years of thought into this.
