I also love that Banjo Ryuga's plotline is something that would usually be reserved for the main Rider, finding out that they have altered DNA and that's what allows their power level to constantly rise. This show does a really good job of making Cross-Z feel as important to the plot as Sento, whereas most seasons make you feel like the secondary Rider is just backup. Kazumi has kind of been out-of-focus with all this stuff going on between Sento and Banjo, but by no means does it feel like he's the awkward 3rd wheel.

Yeah, it's like phillip and shotaro. The brain and the muscle. It's been a while since the second rider is so relevant. Usually they debut later and have their problem resolved then get sidelined as the punching bag of the week. There are sometimes when cross is getting whoop a lot, but ever since cross charge debut and now magma, it's obviously they're both well balance. Plus both are getting a stark upgrades. I'm glad they're ditching the motw and 2 parters with guest of the week in the recent years. It's very rare for an episode to have an interesting guest that's relevant to the main story like the one from last week lupinvspatr
