And the glasses gesture is not the only piece of evidence (though I'll note Utsumi has done so with both hands, if not in suit). The scans keep his identity secret, but let know that he's somebody smart. They also have a couple of lines from him and these are the real giveaway: Mad Rogue uses "watashi" (as Utsumi does), not "ore" (as does Gentoku). None of it is anything like solid proof, but altogether it's very suggestive.

This is starting to sound like a retread Ex-Aid. An earlier big villain (Gentoku and Dan) joins forces with the good guys, while not abolishing his evil ways, to fight a really big villain (Evolt and Cronus)
