The Emotion of Heaven



"Nathan?" Samantha was really hoping he wasn't screening his calls. Somehow she doubted it, but she could always hope. "Nathan, come down to the docks. I found the next belt and the reports aren't good." That was all she was willing to say over the phone. Paranoid? Nope, not her. Reaching behind her, on her rooftop perch, Samantha pulled out the five-subject notebook Nathan gave her. Filled on every page with everything his strange flashes gave him about each Rider and what their Belts would look like.
Double they already dealt with, so Samantha could cross him off. Through her telephoto zoom she could barely make out the flashes of belt she was seeing. No.. Wait. She was seeing two men wearing belts! Samantha gave off a deep sigh. "Wonderful.." The first one looked like a normal belt. Silver, and thicker, but there was no sign of a Driver. There was something like that in her notebook, wasn't there?
Laying her camera down she began flipping through the pages. Looking through the sketches of each belt and Driver. One thing she could say about Nathan; He could certainly draw. And Sam found what she was looking for, though after reading it's abilities she wishes she didn't. "Kamen Rider Kabuto.. Masked and Rider Systems, Clock Up.. Oh, how nice. He can go super-speed. All of these Riders looked so overpowered it was ridiculous.
That second one though. It looked like a hand. Seriously, a giant black hand set on the belt. And the man wearing it had a sling of rings hanging down from off his hip. She searched through her records and only came up with one answer.. Kamen Rider Wizard. Powerful and magical and neither of those sounded good. ".. What could they be doing with two powerhouses like that..?" She was about to get her answer.
“Let me show you.” Samantha stiffened. Turning just in time to see a boot clocking her upside the head, and sending her crumpled onto the roof.

Nathan was busy. Well, Kamen Rider Decade was. “Wachaa!” The kick sent Decade hurtling backward, skidding across the ground until he smacked a nearby dumpster.. Mostly with his head. This was getting old. “Alright.. That’s your free one. Momo, drop this guy!”
“Tsk. Finally you let me in against the scrub. Oi, Boy! You got’a name? Like knowin’ who’s ass I’m about to kick.” Slowly, from between two buildings to the side of the alley, Kamen Rider Den-O emerged. Absently tapping his sword against his right shoulder while waiting for an answer. “Kamen Rider Meteor.. Now where is she?!”
“Tsk. He’s after yer girlfriend?” Meteor struck while he thought Den-O was distracted. Launching himself into a double kick towards Momo’s exposed shoulder.. But Momo wasn’t that stupid. Turning himself Momo dodged the assault giving Meteor a lovely kick in the backside. Sending the Rider hurtling into a nearby wall stomach first. “You ain’t fightin’ the Newb anymore, Starboy.” Grinning beneath his helmet, Den-O Sword Form struck his best pose. “Ore Sanjou! Come on, Starboy.. Show me whatcha got!”
Meteor was back up! Mars Ready? Ok! Okay, that was different. But Momo was laughing, honestly laughing, while Meteor tried striking him down with a planet. “No one’s ever tried that before! What else ya got?!” Chuckling, Momo brought his sword down slicing the planet in half and ending with a kick to Meteor’s stomach. Sending the man stumbling backward.
Growling, Meteor ripped out his switch and slammed home a larger golden one. Spinning the large disc on top while his belt proclaimed METEOR STORM! Engulfed in gold swirls of energy Meteor emerged in his powered Meteor Storm mode and began his attack again! Slashing again and again at Momo, only to be blocked at every turn. “Where is she? Where is Tomoko?!”
Back on his feet, Decade decided to end this. He needed to find out who Tomoko was and why this Rider thought he had her. Much fun as he was having watching Den-O kick the living blue hell out of the punk. Reaching into the Booker one car slid out into his hand.. And was quickly swiped.

Kamen Ride.... KIVA!

“Darkness Moon Break.” Launching himself skyward, out of the skies themselves, the Dragon Castle Doran emerged and engulfed Kiva in bluish flames. Shattering the sky around him turning day into night. Roaring, launching himself towards Meteor Storm, Den had the good sense to roll away just in time.. Kiva struck Meteor dead on! The ground around them exploding into smaller chunks of earth in the shape of Kiva’s symbol and sending a shockwave through Meteor so powerful that Ryuusei de-henshin’d and collasped beneath him.

As night fell Ryuusei finally woke. Tied to one of the chairs inside Nathan’s apartment with Momo marching behind him. Mostly bored. The kid’d been asleep now for about three hours, and his patience was wearing thin. But. “ ... Where.. is she...”
This again. “Look. You have no reason to believe me but I didn’t steal your girlfriend. I can barely hang on to the one I have without taking girls from other guys. .. But I have a question. The guy who told you I had her? Was he a blue and black Kamen Rider? Carried a gun that takes credit cards and had a face like a water heater?”
Ryuusei struggled against the ropes but gave a quick nod. “DiEnd said you kidnapped her.” And of course this dork just believed him. Sighing, Nathan gave a nod towards Momo. Who reluctantly used his sword to slice through the ropes freeing Ryuusei.
“DiEnd lied. Untying you, I hope, will show you that. I don’t have her. All I have is him and if you want him you can take him.” “Tsk!” “Ryuusei, my name’s Nathan. Kamen Rider Decade. That’s Momotaros. Kamen Rider Den-O. How about instead of beating on each other we go look for Tomoko... Shit!”
Running for his phone Nathan groaned loudly inside the small room. “She called!” The first message was about finding the belt.. The next message though got all their attention. “My name is Kamen Rider Kabuto. I have your nosey Girlfriend, along with another girl named Tomoko. Hello Ryuusei. I told DiEnd lying to you wouldn’t work for very long, and by all measures you’re there listening to this too. Come to the Docks by noon tomorrow. Bring Den-O and Meteor and surrender your belts.. Or Wizard is going to burn them both alive. Slowly.”
Noon tomorrow.. They all had the same look. They weren’t going to wait until tomorrow.
