Since this thread has not been used in a while. The last few movies I watched where:

Arrival (2016) - I finally got the chance to see this movie and it was amazing. I did not expect this movie to be this good. This movie really had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. I love the story, emotion and the direction the story takes in this movie. I can't recommended this movie a enough. Something fresh and more realistic than doing another War of the Worlds and Independence Day type of movie. Grade: 4.5/5

Evilspeaks (1981) - I never had the chance seeing this movie growing up. I felt like this movie was fun, but could have been way better. The unlikable characters and the bad pacing really ruined the movie for me. It takes long for the horror stuff to happen. Not to mention the acting in this movie kinda sucks at time. I do think the best thing about this movie is the awesome death scenes. Sadly it takes too long for them to happen. The climax is great and is totally worth it with the over the top gore. Overall this movie is a mixed bag. It is worth renting or watching for free on Amazon Prime (Like I did), but I would not buy it unless it's under $10. Grade: 3/5

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998): This movie is still amazing after 20 years later. The surreal visuals, the dark comedy, the memorable characters and the horrifying satire of the American dream makes this movie a near perfect film in my opinion. Hunter S. Thompson's message is still intact and strong as ever. I still think critics didn't understand the movie when it came out which is why the movie has a bad rating on Rotten Tomatoes and Meta Critic. Grade: 5/5
