He was always treading the line between amusingly competent and annoyingly competent. The moment that Build killed himself and then it turned out Stark TOTALLY PLANNED FOR THAT FOR REAL was the moment I gave up on the show. Its such a terrible shock twist ending, and I was dreading it the entire time. Didn't help that the rest of that episode was terrible too.

Basically, why should I watch the show if I already know that every episode is going to end with Stark winning and nothing else, besides new power-ups happening? New power ups that Stark totally planned for because he can see into the future I guess. Its not worth my time until the plot moves forward and Stark gets his ass kicked.

EDIT: oh yeah him having no actual motivation besides being evil is really terrible writing as well. Don Armage has a better motivation than Stark does, and his is literally just being an embodiment of hatred.

That actually did set him back a little bit because he was pretty pissed about it for most of episode, and the only reason he was only able get what he wanted was by thinking on the fly when Rouge, Grease, and Cross Magma attacked him.
