Also the last movie didn't make that much money, also Hasbro is trying to make a Cinematic Universe which they might put Power Rangers in now. Also the Amazing Spider-Man 2 came out 3 years before Spider-Man Homecoming, so Power Rangers might get a reboot movie in 3 or 4 years from now.

I wouldn't say a sequel is 100% out, Hasbro works with Takara and Bandai despite them being rival companies in japan, so working with Paramount and Lionsgate is possible. but yeah a reboot is more likely. also the hasbro cinematic universe thing has been cancelled and uncancelled multiple times, Hasbro may not do it, they keep cancelling movies that are suppose to be key components of this shared universe. its a bold concept and maybe not worth the gamble, especially with a series like power rangers that has such a long history in its own little bubble.
