No I agree with that, I never really feel like it is an attitude that ends in a positive way for a character though, pretty much every sentai member or villain who has had this type of attitude ends up suffering eventually in one way or another.

For now there is no doubt that he is better then them in every way imaginable, he probably showed up with the intent of being the leader of the merged team in the end, but it will not go how he thinks.

It is to early for our duo red to truly be leaders though, Kairi still has a very negative opinion towards people, he does not see others as more then tools currently while Keiichiro has not realized what true " justice " is, which is pretty telling in his attitude towards the Lupin rangers opinion wise, though his conversation with Kairi during their battle and Yellow when she helped him with the dream eater monster (( what he can remember anyways )) likely has had some effects.

Kairi I feel, needs more character development currently, or rather character growth perhaps would be a better way to put it.
