Yeah, I agree with what others say, that this arc feels like a holding pattern. Like the writers did too much too soon and had to stall until the final arc, plus the toys are selling well enough to need more bottles to sell, so they settled on this as a stalling tactic.

I should point out that they specifically said early in the series that the Rider System is able to grow in power along with its user which makes it different from the trainer system that Blood Stalk and Night Rogue used. If Sento's dad has been using it for many years, than that would be a better explanation. It's not the one they went with, but it would have worked better.

In spite of the stalled story, the characters are still written well and there are some great moments there. Banjo may just be the best secondary rider yet.
