Well at least there's *some reason* why they chose Ginga. The only other reason I could come up with was that they put Ginga in there because kids are more likely to know who he since he's still relatively new compared to Taro but it feels like Ultraman makes a much stronger effort to make sure kids know who the showa era ultras are compared to showa riders so I don't know how much weight that reason hold.
