For what it's worth, some of the problems people are complaining about with Build now, like the hamfisted comedy, have been there from day one, and I've never seen a Rider show that hasn't been accused of padding out the plot to 50-ish episodes, so that's nothing new either.

I think the people who are finding themselves disappointed with Build right now are only feeling that way because they care. Build was almost indisputably an above-par show for so long that anything under that seems like a huge betrayal. I think as long the ending is solid everybody will make peace with it after a while.

I was about to say this, but much less eloquently. Honestly, did everyone forgot all the little slip-ups throughout even the best Rider shows? Build might not be been perfect, but to quote my current favorite Rider show, “Nobody’s perfect”.
