But yeah, the whole series has been surrounding the girls of the series mostly. I think it's because they're the most likely to pull the boys together when it comes time to work together. Otherwise there would be no other way about it. Noel is too weak a profile to be a guiding force in helping to align both teams goals. That's not a bad thing.

But....with that said, why is it so much harder to have a female Red and just get it over with. And don't tell me it's a boy thing. There's way too many anime on currently with girls being the main characters to use that as an excuse.

Sadly it IS a boy thing, Japan's pretty fucking sexist in some areas, such as deliberately lowering medical scores for female employees because "Well once they get married they'll quit". That being said, from my understanding, Japan adores Umika and she's the most popular Lupin so they want to put spotlight on her.
