Technically, Ghost and Kiva. Both had a majority that were either dead or undead. Kabuto had some twists too like that. Faiz too.

Kind of varies depending on what the story calls for. No show actively sets out to off characters, and it's more on how the story weaves itself overtime for what seems like certain areas call for to create dramatic tension and emotional crescendos or make audiences react.
