Beardo knew he had a part to play like Kazumi and the bottle and giving it to Misora before he died so his part was to buy time while Sento and Banjou were unable to fight in their rider forms. He was smart enough to know that damaging the belt would soften up Evolt which is a homage to Kuuga. Beardo also went out knowing that he had the respect of Kazumi.
