That fight made me quit the game for an entire year. After that I came back, completed it 100% through multiple runs and continued to adore the series to this day, Bloodborne especially.

I still hate that fight with a passion though, as I don’t like to deal with two bosses at one time either, but it’s doable, if a salty bitch like me can handle it after coming back a year later you can do it no problem.

Lure them through the arena, seek safety behind the pillars and retreat to another when they gang up on you. Kill Ornstein first, since he’s way faster than Smough you can let him come to you and get a few hits in before Smough catches up. Dealing with Smough alone is easier IMO, even in his second form.
