Finally saw the Kami no Kiba movie (discovered recently only Over-Time finished to sub it one week ago) and I'm confused.

Without spoiling what happens in the movie, nothing seem to tie the movie to this spin-off.

At first seeing the trailer, you can think it's a prequel. But at the end of it you can see the spin-off Jinga seeing his Horror self from Goldstorm onwards.
So is it a sequel ?

But nothing in the movie relates to anything we see in the trailer (and again, without spoiling, the circumstances of the movie about Jinga makes me doubt this show is a sequel now. there's something big about Jinga that would make any GARO fan get SUPER hyped, but I don't think it has anything to do with the present show)
So is it a prequel ?

Maybe, but Jinga appearance contradicts with anything we've known about his past in Goldstorm and about the Makai Retsuden episode that was about him and Amily (In the trailer his hair are like his post-horror self while in flashbacks and makai retsuden he has brown hair). And it doesn't blend well with his backstory anyway.

My most logical conclusion would be it's some kind of reboot about Jinga. But man I really hope it isn't. So far GARO shows were always well written and I admired how every story blended well together without any tricks. But that would more sense if it's a reboot about his backstory.
Anyway I'm excited for the show to start.

oh btw, his title as a Makai Knight is officially : Eiko Kishi ROZE (the Shining Shadow Knight)
