More specially Yuta is Classics Cliffjumper (the normal lead in the SG comic), all of his classmates are Shattered Glass Transformers, the one parent is a G1 Transformers, the black suited characters are all movie Dinobots, and some kaiju might be Gridman monsters mixed with different beast Transformers.

And then there's other Ultraman/Gridman references on top of that. None of this distracts from the show, btw. Seen the first 2 episodes. It's a good time.
