Kiva is the most unfairly maligned KR series, IMO.

The way it handles the multiple timelines is often brilliant, the characters and performances are super memorable, the melodrama is top notch, and the design work is stellar.

Does it always "make sense?" No. But it's in my Top 3 KR series, without a doubt.

I... wouldn't hold out much hope for an explanation of, well, anything really.

A lot of people criticize the show for not taking the time to explain things, but that's kind of one of the main reasons I love it? It makes every new addition to the plot and world feel so bonkers, and "bonkers" is one of my favorite things a toku can be.
