It's funny, I actually had no problem with Splash since it was at the time subverting expectations and the episode where it happened was really strong.

This time though... Before I saw the preview for next time, I was under the false impression that both new vehicles would go to Noel, and that he'd used Victory Striker in his Patren X form. The fact that they were actually clearly designed to go to each red and instead goes to two different thieves AND that the mechs are only used to make Lupin Kaiser...

And that's all ignoring that the Lupins have Magnum!

It's something people have brought up their gripes about over and over again, but this is actually the first time where I have felt like the distribution of power-ups is seriously hard to ignore. The story will win out in the end, I'm sure, but it's impossible not to feel like the cops are being intentionally ripped off several times over.

EDIT: Wait, why were the vehicles already in full-size and just flying through space in the first place? Did Arsene Lupin hide them on a meteor?
