Was one of the earliest that bucked the trends too that set the way for so many to follow. Without Hibiki there's a lot we wouldn't have gotten later. It truly is the "Art house" kamen rider, and made so many great series possible later.

As much as I admire Takadera's craft and the love he put into the show while he was around, in retrospect I wanna ask Toei why they picked him, cause I am sure they were aware of how much an auteur he is. I guess the scratch-built chapel he burned to the ground for THE MOST EPIC DEBUT OF A SUPERHERO aka episode 2 of Kuuga wasn't a clear indicator. *scratches head*
