[Kamen Rider Lucha]

I know it's not something any of us want to consider, but...

I'm seriously wondering if giving Sentai one-to-five years off would be a good thing.

I want to make it clear that I don't want this to happen.

But it's possible that a break would give Toei and Bandai time to recharge their creative batteries and distance to evaluate what works and doesn't work for a modern audience/consumer.

And who knows? Maybe in the interim they'd come up with a new toku to fill the void that would satisfy everyone until Sentai's inevitable return.

The ratings are low, the toy sales are low... it's obvious that something about Sentai isn't working. It just might be time to put it on ice for a while.
