I'm more for both, where you need the slower episodes to flesh the characters while you need the overall narrative to keep things going while they have the occasional character arc, like say ToQger and Kyuranger. LuPat to me just fells like a person learning how to drive for the first time, goes a bit, then stalls, goes a little bit, then stalls...etc.
Good with emotional character pieces even if its filler. It's like every episode they play the same tune to fuel their ambitions, but the main problem is the characters are smarter than most seasons. There so many clues being picked up, but no resolution. Now, it's a rush with new plot devices being crammed in to end it. I don't know if the clip show will be a sad one or generic happy bistro celebration. It would be amazing to end on an identity reveal before the new year break.
Pro:
Characters interaction and chemistry
Land camera work and action choreography
Con:
Lack of real plot and tension throughout the majority of the series. I could give a pass at the lazy cgi vfx mechs battle and their designs given its been the same for a while in sentai.
Global police and their allies. I feel like there would be more members being deploy from French hq if the ganglers are attacking for a while. The whole Lupin being recently deceased as well as entering satarou just made it more confusing. I guess the writer don't want to go the fan relatable theories. It will be a pity if it will be Star Wars again if Noel, kogure, zamigo, Gangler, collections are not what we thought they're from the start. Honestly, the writers already changed a lot with arsene, zamigo victims, lupin fsvortusm and more. Next, it might be clone of the trio's love ones.
