You must also remember, though, that he has previously said he'd only come back for a specific Kuuga special done by the original writer. He loves Kuuga, but hates mainstream tokusatsu, so he'd never come back for a big commercial thing like this.

I know this is probably implausible, but Toei should get Takatera back along with Arakawa to do a Kuuga film. Odagiri doesn't even have to play a huge part in it. Heck, get him to direct it now that he's making films at Toei Studios. Kuuga's never had a movie and we know the creatives behind Rider are open to do standalone, adult-oriented films as we had an Amazons film just last year.
