[Kiwami]

Since I liked SSSS. Gridman so much I’ve decided to watch the original. Not expecting a masterpiece or anything, just because I wanted to see where my show of the year has its roots.

It’s a very simple yet fun show; I’m 5 episodes in and still feel like wanting more. The premise is interesting in that it is actually much more relevant and terrifying than it was 25 years ago; the characters and story are very simple and episodic yet enjoyable. The action is really cool, not the most impressive suit and effect work but very nice to look at, especially when they blow stuff up.

Realizing what they referenced in SSSS. Gridman is kinda fun too, of all the things that could’ve been inspired by the original show I honestly did not expect the "Special Dog" to be among them
