Gotta justify having a police force somehow. Before anyone gets uppity, I’m not saying I approve of that, it’s a quip that just goes back to my first point that if the low crime rates and the police corruption in trying to find shit to police are anything to go by, Japanese cops would love routine monster attacks to give themselves a point again.

Actually, maybe that’s why toku police are so terrible at their jobs, the monster attacks are the first real action they’ve seen in years and they might as well just be normal civies with how prepared they are to handle the monsters of the week.
