Considering how much references were already made with Kikaider, including the goddamn actor, I wouldn't be surprised if they wanted to use another old school show as inspiration

Yeah I get why Tsukuyomi's changing as seeing Zi-O II (which now that I think about it I swear looks like a Samurai) as the moment we all feel when we do something that goes terribly, it makes us go "Oh shit oh fuck I have made a huge mistake" like idk, going to the bathroom and only finding out it's clogged after flushing. That being said I'm not sure I like this development at all

Also, seeing Sougo realize Uhr was in danger and warning him does show more of Sougo's ideals imo, he doesn't want the Jackers to win, but he doesn't want them to suffer. Pretty neat
