Thoughts on episode 1: this was really, really good and a great start to Hasbro's era. I really enjoyed this episode. We get a good initial idea of who each ranger is and their personalities (Devon's a "thrill-seeker" and looks for anything that challenges him, Ravi adheres to the rules even if doesn't agree with them, Zoey is a determined person who always wants to help in any way). I like how they're setting up the eventual rivalries/conflicts between Devon and Blaze (Avatar) and Ravi and Roxy (Avatar) and this episode did it really well. We don't get a lot about Blaze, Roxy, or Evox but we a good initial look and they'll most likely be explored in future episodes. I think overall, this episode introduced almost all the characters really well, it didn't seem forced or shoved down our mouths or too exposition-y (the only real exposition was used to introduce Nate but it didn't feel like too much).

My only complaint about this would be the security guards aka comedic duo. Not a fan of them. They're not overly annoying but there's a part of me that thinks "can we move on to the next scene please".

Overall, pretty good start to the series and hopefully it keeps this tone or better throughout the rest.
