Marvelous is fine as a character, but he never goes from A to B in terms of characterization. The Gokaigers are all just static. Nothing wrong with them as characters as they are fun characters, but they don't really grow or change.

And for a fun series where the biggest theme is reminding the world why heroes fight evil, that's honestly all you need.
