there's comedy puppets for like half the series that exist solely to comment on what's happening in the episode for jokes. the villains get reduced to jokes by the end of the series. the show itself is a general mishmash of ideas that don't really work together. the max magma is used in one episode and they expected that to sell toys

it's really not that great of a show. the show itself wasn't going downhill, turboranger was a strong season and liveman was before that too
