Actually, she joined the "let's kill Sougo" bandwagon before even learning of his dreams warping reality. It's in the first of the Kikai episodes. She learns about his new powers in the second episode of the Kikai episodes, which only reaffirms her decision to have Sougo eliminated. So in a way, it is all of a sudden. She went through 20ish episodes of "maybe Sougo can change and I'll try to help him" to "welp, he has an Oma Zi-O power. He's irredeemable at this point. Time to eliminate him".
