While this is true, I wouldn't say they're not the same people, it's just that their history in the original Rider War was erased. So while those specific events technically never occurred in their lives after the time alteration, that shouldn't change their core personality.

Of course there's still two episodes to go so I'm hoping that it will be addressed in a way that makes sense, but it just doesn't sit right with me so far.
