[Kamen Rider Lucha]

There were things I liked about this ep, but it was was a major disappointment after last week's cliffhanger. It's the first ep that felt kind of bullshit?

Everything was moving along great until... the poisoning plot got resolved by the lamest Deus Ex Machina ever. Where the hell did that Elder guy come from? Was he on anyone's radar? And he just happened to have the ability to magic-zap a piece of the Minusaur's fang into a cure? Shouldn't Ui's dad have played a part in this, considering it was his scientist friend who told him to reverse engineer an antidote from the Minusaur's DNA? Why set that up if you aren't going to pay it off?

Also, there was zero explanation for why there were two of the dog Minusaurs. They were just like, "what if he has a twin!?" What? Why? Huh?

I'm going to chalk this ep's whackness up to growing pains, but it was seriously frustrating from just a basic storytelling perspective.
