I dunno if it's really been a lot, it's just been Another Hibiki and Kiva really. I guess Another Zi-O was personally significant, but Sougo didn't actually know (of) him. I dunno if the fact that they're not mentioned prior is much of a problem either, since they're all just people Sougo only knew like 10 years ago, so they're not really "important," and even in this episode they kinda mock the idea that Yuko's presence in his life was that meaningful. I'd find it obnoxious if they were just conjuring some present-day friends of his out of the blue, but dredging up people from way in the past is ok.

I'd also say, if you have to do these two-parter character/victim of the week-focused stories, better that they have at least some tenuous connection to the main characters. I for sure prefer this over the randos from the first arc, at least.
