MechaG and Tokyo Wars were sequels but all the others of that era seem like stand alone one offs, I think that's what Shin is too. I'd be shocked if it got a sequel.

Heard japan is doing the cinematic universe too. They kind of did in past like monster verse original with mothra and rodan starting in their own movies, but nowadays a movie without gidzilla lack star power. Everyone tries to mimic and give sht about tone of mcu, but it's a surprise and a lot of bts marketing to make it a loyal brand. So much for dark universe and dc as well.star wars is tanking when they don't cater to fan service just like game throne finale.
